The 2nd Annual Collaboration to

Combat Human Trafficking

Community Awareness & Outreach

The Community Coalition Against Human Trafficking is proud to serve Knoxville community, along with East TN and throughout the state of TN. Our goal is to raise awareness about human trafficking within our community, provide ongoing training and support, collaborate with other anti-human trafficking partners and provide direct support to rescued trafficking victims, including working with our local Transitional Safe House.

Co-hosting the 2nd Annual Collaboration to Combat Human Trafficking allows us to continue reaching each of our goals as we continue to be a light for those trapped in darkness. Training is an essential component for our First Responders to continue raising the level of readiness and we believe that the 2nd Annual Collaboration to Combat Human Trafficking training will be another key component to increasing the momentum to make it harder to traffick in TN.

Raising awareness is also another essential component to combatting human trafficking. Our Coalition, along with Cry for Justice and other community partners, continue to spread the message that human trafficking is alive and well in East TN and throughout TN. Our partnerships within the TN Leadership Team across the state of TN continue to strenghthen our resolve in this fight against trafficking. It may have been a hidden crime for many years but we are dedicated to help shine the light in the darkness throughout our communities.

We encourage everyone to take 5 minutes and educate yourself on the signs of human trafficking. It takes one call from a concerned citizen to recognize the signs of trafficking that can help save someone's life.

If you suspect signs of human trafficking, contact your local authorities or contact the TN Human Trafficking Hotline at 855-55-TNHTH (86484).
